Who we are
Haus of College Counseling supports students by simplifying the college application journey. We recognize that the process has become exceedingly complicated. Approaching the different terminology and resources needed to thoroughly and successfully complete college applications, from Common Application to FAFSA to Early Decision, feels like learning another language.
As a team of school counselors with degrees in counseling psychology, we focus on making this process approachable. Guided by our our 30+ years of experience in academic, social, emotional, and college counseling, we focus on student strengths and individualized college planning. Our goal is for students to gain independence and find the right post-graduation pathway.
Our counselors work with students at key points in their high school journey to help them with course selection, college research, academic monitoring, college list development, college application strategy, financial aid, and hand holding through the journey of senior year decision making including deferrals, waitlists, rejections, acceptances, and commitments.
